CelebrityScott Disick Enters the Great Merch War of 2016
Scott Disick, fashion enthusiast and somewhat troubled Kardashian family member, has entered the Great Merch War of 2016. The nightclub promoter showed up to a 1OAK party wearing a hoodie that riffed on Kanye West’s Pablo merch. Instead of saying “Pablo, Pablo, Pablo, Pablo” on the back, it said this:
Just in case you’ve managed to escape watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians for the last nine years, “Lord” is Scott Disick’s preferred moniker. It’s unclear whether club attendees were able to purchase Lord hoodies that night, but we know they were made to hold up letters that spelled out “Lord”, which is enough.
As far as merch ripoffs go, we prefer LeBron’s “I Feel like LeBron” T-shirt, which he debuted while on a rowdy vacation with friends. It was funny and irreverent, instead of being too shades too sincere, which is how Disick’s hoodie comes off.
Regardless, the important thing here is that nightclub merch doesn’t become a thing. That'd be tackier than the return of square-toe loafers, which says a lot.
