SuitsRing Jacket's Latest Collection Is Everything That's Great About Tailoring Right Now
If you're just hearing about the Japanese brand Ring Jacket, that's no surprise. Until recently it's been primarily hidden away in the closets of extremely stylish men in Tokyo and Hong Kong. But now that it's got a foothold in the United States, its gospel is starting to spread—and its tailoring (American classics influenced by English and Italian tailoring techniques) has guys flocking to the stores that stock it. Our friends at GQ Style called it "the most cosmopolitan suiting brand out there right now," and the fall collection proves it. Its filled with higher-octane versions of the classics every man should own, like a navy herringbone overcoat with bright blue thread, and a brown herringbone jacket spun from Balloon wool, a special fabric used exclusively by Ring Jacket that refuses to wrinkle. Quality like this doesn't come cheap (suits start around $1,500), but if you can't afford anything in the look book, you can at least use it to inspire how to dress this fall.
