Nigerian First Cake Designer on Forbes, Barbara Okereke

This is celebrating with Ms Babara Okereke who just got listed on Forbes Africa just for her cake business couple of weeks ago.

On her recent Linkedin post, she wrote: I got listed on Forbes 30 under 30 Africa (Business Category)… It’s been so unreal.. I’m so excited, overwhelmed, emotional and thankful for this uncommon opportunity. It’s been 3 years and 8 months since I started my cake business, it’s been 3 years since I relocated to the city of Lagos. I’m quite new in this business thing.. I make costly mistakes, I go through lots of back-breaking challenges….but I’m still learning, still improving, still thriving to be the best at what I do. I had other dreams I thought would have been the ultimate plan for me.. But here we are, the very first cake decorator to be listed on Forbes 30 under 30 Africa. Your dreams are Valid!Special thanks to @forbesafrica, for granting my brand @oven_secret, this opportunity, for believing in me and welcoming me into the Forbes Family. I promise not to let you down. Super thankful to God, for my extremely supportive family, great friends/loved ones and of course my clients/customers who let the world see my creativity through their constant patronage! Thank you for giving me a chance. …The Future is Female! Your dreams are valid.
