Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir finally tied the knot after a 7-year journey. Atlanta-based rapper Gucci Mane and beauty-fitness entrepreneur Keyshia Ka’oir completed the anticipated “over-the-top fabulous” wedding tagged as “The Mane Event” aired on BET. Rapper Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir spent $75,000 on huge 10ft cake that they cut with a SWORD at their lavish $2m wedding.
“The WOPSTERS are officially a part of the @BET family!!! Our wedding Special will be EPIC!” Keyshia wrote in the caption of an Instagram video spreading the news.
“Gucci and I have been gearing up for this day for almost seven years now,” she says. “This wedding must be perfect. I want a royal wedding — all white with diamonds and crystals.”
The couple has been together since they met in 2010, before facing some serious trials and tribulations while Gucci was in prison up until last year summer. Back in November 2016, the rapper proposed to his longtime boo at an Atlanta Hawks game, with the two being engaged ever since.
Gucci and Keyshia got hitched Tuesday night at Miami’s Four Seasons Hotel, draped from head to toe in white outfits … a theme they kept going from Gucci’s knee-less proposal. Gucci Mane popped the question to longtime girlfriend Ka’oir in Nov. 22, 2016 in front of thousands of NBA fans at the Atlanta Hawks game. Instead of planting a smooch on her face when the “Kiss Cam” segment popped up during a break, he slid a huge diamond ring onto her finger.
Keyshia and Guwop’s hip-hop pals 2 Chainz and Diddy were there, along with ‘RHOA’ stars Kim Zolciak-Biermann and her daughter, Brielle — plus Karrueche Tran, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Monica and more.
2 Chainz, Lil Yachty, Big Sean, Jhene Aiko, and more slipped into pearly-white outfits for the Gucci Mane and Keyshia’s diamond-flooded wedding which is rated as the biggest wedding event of the year.
“All the women have to wear a gown, as if you are getting married. And the men have to wear white suits. Even my camera crew has to wear white. If you don’t come dressed accordingly you have to leave, and I am so serious. If you come wearing something else then you were not invited,” bride Keyshia Ka’oir previously said.
The happy couple shared the unveiling of their 10ft baked masterpiece on Gucci’s Instagram, posting a video of the pair. Gucci captioned the post: ‘Gucci Hood Rich he don’t know how to cut no wedding cake…You know wifey got his back tho.’
Edda’s Cake Design told TMZ that it was the biggest cake they had ever produced, taking 3 months of planning, 3 days of baking, 8,000 handmade sugar flowers and 2,500 Swarovski crystals
