Donald Glover Sings on ‘James Corden,’ Just in Case You Didn’t Think He Had Enough Talents Already

TVHere's Donald Glover Singing, Just in Case You Didn't Think He Had Enough Talents Already

The Atlanta star showed off his pipes on The Late Late Show.

Donald Glover already wears many hats—like actor, rapper, comedian, producer and TV show creator, just to name a few (also, trucker, occasionally.) Glover may be selling himself short, however, because it appears he's totally ready for a career as an aggressively pleasant pop star.

Glover stopped by The Late Late Show last night and showed off his singing voice in a short segment with bandleader Reggie Watts. Glover’s song—which may or may not have been come up with totally on the spot—actually had a nice little groove to it! (His dance moves weren't half-bad either, even if they weren't on Idris Elba level.)

Though Glover may have his hands full with his FX hit Atlanta right now, the song he debuted on Corden is almost certainly ready to be in an iTunes commercial or a bonus track on the next Maroon 5 album. Even if you think Glover will never commit to his pop talents and perform your favorite song to tap on the steering wheel to during your morning commute, this clip is completely worth watching; come for Glover's pipes, but stay for six-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson sitting completely silent and politely contemplating what he should be doing during the whole bit.
