AwardsChrissy Teigen's VMA Tweets Should Earn Her the 2017 Hosting Gig
The best commentary of the night was… on her Twitter feed.
Did you watch the VMAs this year? If you didn't, well… that's OK. With the exception of a mini-concert from Beyoncé in the center and some intermittent Rihanna realness, the show was a surreal type of anarchy that involved either six hosts or none at all, a handful of teens living their dreams, and a lot of out-of-breath singers who did not realize dancing on stage was going to get them that winded. It left me debating whether to watch the VMAs again, because does anyone understand how painful this is?
Enter Chrissy Teigen, your favorite supermodel/mother/tweet queen extraordinaire who took to Twitter to speak straight truth. She's perfect, and she might be the only one who can save the VMAs.
First off, she understands that putting Britney Spears after Beyoncé is a truly savage move.
She said what we all were thinking re: Kanye's new video for "Fade.".
She speaks for all of us watching a Jonas Brother win a grown-up VMA.
And, most importantly, she knows her audience.
See you next year, Chrissy. In charge, hopefully.
