Style In The WildThe Kids of Kanye West's Saint Pablo Show
Kanye West's status as king of youth style was on full display as the crowds streamed out of his Saint Pablo Tour show at Madison Square Garden.
Last February, at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Kanye West threw down one of the biggest events of the year in both fashion and music. It was the ultimate precursor to his barnstorming 31-city Saint Pablo Tour which, on its first swing through New York, brought another legendary performance to the Garden. Suspended on a stage above a mosh pit of youthful Yeezy devotees (not to mention celebs like Diddy, who eschewed box seats for the scrum), West burned through bangers from across his discography, and if anyone in the house took a break from the dizzying set it was to line up for the merch that West has made as covetable as any piece of designer clothing. After he concluded with the arena-shaking Ultralight Beam, the delirious crowd spilled out of the Garden, many decked out in well-known West fashion staples (Margiela and Supreme) as well as Yeezy shoes and, reliably, plenty of merch both brand-new and DIY. Here, photographs of the scene outside Madison Square Garden as the show let out.
