TVThe Fate of Stranger Things' Barb Has Finally Been Revealed
She gets her own coda—on Jimmy Fallon.
For my money, Stranger Things was definitely the best show to debut this summer, and if you haven't already, you should watch it before the internet hype ruins it forever. If you have seen it, though, then you probably know one of the more talked about parts of the series was [spoiler alert] the fate of Barb, the bespectacled, mostly-disapproving best friend of Nancy Wheeler. Barb was kidnapped by the monster mid-season and taken to The Upside Down, but unlike the missing Will Byers, no one really seemed to care. (Like seriously, I don't think anyone made a single attempt to bring her back to the real world.)
We were all meant to believe Barb probably died in that creepy alternate dimension, especially considering the last time we saw her she was covered in goo and spitting up slugs. However, in this "exclusive" deleted scene that aired on The Tonight Show last night, we not only know Barb is alive, but it turns out slugs aren't the only vulgar things coming out of her mouth.
Yeah, Barb is a little upset that no one gave a single fuck that she was left to die by everyone she knew. If Barb is angry about that, wait until she finds out Nancy chose Steve over Jonathan.
