This Runway Liberia Showcase will feature top Liberian and International Designers’ collections along with world class entertainment from Liberian and International artists at the Baltimore War Memorial, June 25, 2016 at 5:30 p.m.
Created by Junda Morris- Kennedy, Runway Liberia (RL) is the biggest event showcasing Liberian Fashion, Music & Arts on an international platform. Runway Liberia is a multifaceted event established to promote the social, cultural and economic development initiatives of Liberia to a global audience through fashion and entertainment; serves as a collaborative catwalk and exhibition, highlighting the industry’s established and emerged Liberian and International designers.
This year’s theme, EMPOWERMENT & BRANDING”, is brought to life as we will be nominating apprentices within the Liberian fashion industry as Liberian Fashion Tourism Ambassadors to be mentored by Fashion designers from all over the world. Runway Liberia aims to create opportunities for emerging designers and the creative industry of Liberia, through our educational workshops, Zutin Marketplace and ecommerce trade. Runway Liberia’s 2016 Showcase will feature top designers from Liberia and around the world, presenting exquisite garments and accessories, world class entertainment and exhibits of art and luxury products and services.
