SneakersNew Kanye West Adidas Yeezy Boost 350s Drop This Week
But which ones?
Kanye West's Yeezy Boost 350s are back. Last week, we reported that a rumored pair of newly-designed Yeezy Boost 350s were said to be dropping in September. But today, Adidas announced that fans wouldn't have to wait that long, as the next pair of highly-covetable Yeezys are going to hit shelves (note: online raffles and various heart-breaking apps) on August 27th. The rumors stated that the new pair would be a tiger-stripe design with an orange printed stripe across the toe, but Adidas has yet to unveil photos of the sneaker that will be dropping in just six days. From our perspective, it would be nice to have a fresh silhouette in the Adidas Yeezy line-up, especially considering the Yeezy brand has barely put out any clothing since Yeezy Season 1 debuted in October 2015. Point is this: Start your engines, sneakerheads, 'cause it's going to be another wild week in the wonderful world of Pablo.
Now, the mere fact that the Adidas Originals brand has not unveiled an actual photo of the new shoes yet means it's probably the re-designed 350s. Additionally, the outline silhouette seen in the above tweet seems more reminiscent of the V2 Yeezys than the OGs that debuted in 2015. To make matters even more interesting, some have noted than on Adidas's Confirmed app (which is used to reserve pairs of Yeezys for in-store pick-up, albeit mostly unsuccessfully) shows to different pairs of Yeezys are set to drop this week, one big, and one small.
So, this could be the week that baby Yeezys, formerly a North West exclusive, could be hitting the itty-bitty toesies woesies of your local toddler very soon. If nothing more, it'll be really interesting to see what kind of prices baby Yeezys fetch on the aftermarket. It's never too early to show your kids the magic of fresh kicks.
