There's a Bieber/Gomez feud a-brewing.

Life is never easy for Justin Bieber, no matter how #proud he makes his daddy. And his latest drama is unfolding on Instagram, where Bieber's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez left a comment alluding to Bieber cheating on her.

Bieber has been on quite the tour-de-women this summer, having been linked to Hailey Baldwin, Sahara Ray, and now Sofia Richie. Richie, who is seventeen years old, appeared in five consecutive Instagram posts of Bieber's, which apparently isn't thrilling his famously voracious fans. They want answers about who Bieber is in a relationship with and seemingly don't want it to be with Richie, who has been getting a lot of snake emojis—shorthand for WE DO NOT TRUST YOU.

So Justin Bieber did what any rational pop star would do: He reposted a picture of himself and Richie, one in which she jokingly points a finger gun to his head, and threatened to take his Instagram away. The caption read, "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like."

This is where we have to remember Justin Bieber never had a normal non-celebrity high school experience—otherwise he'd know that a threat like that will just make the bad behavior ten times worse. And it is there, in the barrage of comments, that Selena Gomez involved herself, writing, "Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All Love."

Props to Gomez for the sendoff of a lifetime. "Sad. All love" takes the message from Commenting 101 to AP Clap Backs, the modern version of looking down the bridge of your nose and saying, "Pity."

Oh, but it did not end there. Gomez commented again, this time just speaking on behalf of the fans and offering some friendly advice: "If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol—it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you."

Bieber fired back, coopting the spectacularly passive-aggressive usage of "Sad. All love": "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love." Not bad, although the "woman-using-me-for-attention" accusation is pretty tired—and only makes sense if you haven't gotten a tattoo of her face on your arm.
