Miss Urhobo 2015 – Queen Tracy

SO HOW IS LIFE WITH YOU YOUR HIGHEST?

Come on please stop that I’m just a queen – just call me Miss Urhobo

OK MISS URHOBO – HOW IS LIFE?

Fine thank you

HOW HAVE YOU BEEN SINCE YOUR REIGN AS A QUEEN OF THE FIFTH LARGEST TRIBE IN NIGERIA?

Well I must confess it’s not been easy but I’m coping fine

WHY IS IT NOT EASY ?

Being a queen means I’m now a role model to a lot of youth, and that means everything I do or say is being noticed so I have to be careful, lol…

HOW DID IT FEEL WINNING MU 2015

It really feels good and I’m enjoying every bit of it – it is opening doors for me

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY, YOUR SELF

I came from a family of seven, 4 boys 3 girls but lost my kid bro in 2004, my father is a disciplinarian and my mom the assistant but love rules the family . About myself I’m an easy going person, loving and caring, love cakes, ice-cream, etc lol… – sorry where were we? Ok I’m nice and understanding, studied accounting , now Miss Urhobo 2015 lol…

WERE YOU INTO MODELLING BEFORE NOW ?

No, not at all.

ANY PLAN OF GOING INTO MODELLING FULLY?

Hmmm my manager would be in the best position to answer that – for now lips sealed

LETS GO PERSONAL – LOVE LIFE?

Hmmmm yessss everyone has a love story to tell

ARE YOU SINGLE – ?

Of course yes I’m single, but not searching

THERE WAS THIS NEWS ABOUT YOU AND PRODUCER BEING IN A ROMANTIC AFFAIR, SO IS HE THE ONE ?

Lol… Really? – nah I’m not in any romantic affair with any producer, I’M SINGLE

SO WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE URHOBO NATION ?

First and foremost promoting the cultural heritage of the Urhobo nation, promoting the unity of the Urhobo nation because it’s time for the world to witness the creative power of the Urhobo people, that is why myself and my other queens are kicking off the campaign “UrhoboUnite”, promoting the language itself because from statistics 60% of the Urhobo youth don’t really know how to communicate in the language fluently, including me lol… – so just as the organizers did by getting me a tutor so also I’m making arrangement so Urhobo can have a tutorial class in addition to the learning centre in Abraka, then publish more Urhobo reading materials

Wow that’s like a pet project already or its not ?

Lol like the warri pigin “all join” but these are mainly the project

THAT A LOT OF PROJECTS, TO BE DONE WITHIN A YEAR DON’T YOU THINK SO ?

Yes its a lot, that’s why I have my fellow Queens with me, we are working as a team

So what are your thought toward Miss Urhobo pageant ?

To start with on behalf of my office and other queens I really want to appreciate the organizers {Dembaqq Entertainment } for their effort to pull it off without any sponsorship from anyone, they could have done any other pageant but they decide to do Miss Urhobo, all contestants were well trained , feed and accommodated in an hotel for for three days – lectures were given, I personally gained some experiences, etc. If beauty pageants could be like this It will be nice. They tried to change the wrong view of pageants, so I say kudos to them – I can only imagine how 2016 will be like.

And to the Urhobo daughters I would want to use the opportunity to ask them to turn out for 2016 Miss Urhobo because it’s a thing of shame to see that most of my sisters did not turn up, its our tribe and it’s our nation, if we don’t promote it who will? Miss Urhobo 2016 bigger and better.

YOU ARE SO SURE ABOUT THAT

Yes – I’m so sure – if only Dembaqq could organise Miss Urhobo and its was one of the most talked about and successful event of the year 2015, with attendance of over 600 people and over 40,000 engaged online and now the queens will be part of the organisers and sponsors to back it up – it will be great

PEOPLE SAY THAT THE URHOBO ARE NOT UNITED AND DON’T HELP – WHATS YOUR TAKE?

Really? – The Urhobo‘s are peace loving united people, that I can stand for, there may be some situation of such happenings but you cant use that to classify the whole nation. Anyway its all about to change there is a Queen in town

WORDS FOR YOUR FANS /UPCOMING MISS URHOBO?

Its not about the star prize but the love you really have for the Urhobo nation , how would you rule? What legacy would you be remembered for? Each day I kept thinking of ways to improve the Urhobo nation and the youths in general, “dont wait for change, be the change in your generation”.
