A highly scientific ranking, ranging from those cooler than Drake to those not quite as cool as Drake.

Drake's live performances these days have two distinct hallmarks: Lots and lots of grinding, and many, many, many, many onstage guest appearances. On his Summer Sixteen tour, he seems to have taken a page out of Taylor Swift's 1989 playbook and invited guest after guest up onstage with him in various cities; last night, for example, he welcomed Kevin Durant to the stage in Oakland.

There's been less parading around than on the 1989 tour, of course, and more collaborations; most of his guests are musicians who hop onstage and perform some songs. And depending on what city you saw Drake in, you may have thought, "Holy shit, Kanye is here!" or "Why is J. Cole here? I guess now's a good time for a bathroom break." Below, the definitive ranking of all Drake's tour guests to date, ranked in order of coolness.

(Note: The threshold between "not as cool as Drake" and "cooler than Drake" probably sits around No. 4—meaning Drake is tied with Future, his co-headliner. Not bad.)

  1. J. Cole
  2. Eminem
  3. French Montana
  4. Fat Joe
  5. Bun B
  6. YG
  7. Snoop Dogg
  8. DJ Khaled (even if he's never been spotted in a traditional shirt)
  9. T.I.
  10. 2 Chainz
  11. Dipset (remember—it's 2016, not 2003)
  12. A$AP Ferg
  13. Lil Wayne
  14. Kamaiyah
  15. Gucci Mane
  16. Future (who technically isn't a guest, but hey, he's earned his spot)
  17. Kanye West
  18. Young Thug (additional proof here)
  19. Rihanna (Duh.)
