Celebrity6 Celebrity Style Mistakes We Saw This Week (And How to Fix Them)

Ansel Elgort

The Problem: We love you Ansel, and we usually love your risk-taking adventures, but that's just too wild of a pattern to wear the matching jacket and pants.
The Fix: Just the jacket or just the pants would have sold us on the bold pattern swerve here, but both is just overkill. Pair the jacket with jeans or the pants with a bomber in a dark color next time.

Nick Cannon

The Problem: Nick, we know that you have a thing for hats, and we don't mind it, but this turban isn't your finest headgear moment. Also, why are you wearing your gym clothes to the VMAs?
The Fix: Stick to your topper of choice, the fedora.

Pete Davidson

The Problem: Wearing the wrong sneakers with a suit.
The Fix: Opt for a low-top sneaker with a minimalist look (here are a few to choose from) and never, ever tuck in the pant leg. Ever.

Ryan Lochte

The Problem: Those jeans are just too damn baggy.
The Fix: Sure, looser pants are trending, but those are pants that were specifically cut to have a looser, more relaxed fit. These pants are not those. These are just jeans that are a size (actually, several) too big. While Locthe may be a total doofus, one thing he has going for him is an Olympian's physique, meaning he should be able to find a pair of jeans that fit him well. However, it does seem to be an ongoing issue.

The Guys of the VMAs

The Problem: No one can seem to figure out how to wear a shirt.
The Fix: Uh, wear shirts and when you do, button them up?

Donald Trump Jr.

The Problem: That tie is too damn long.
The Fix: There are a lot of problems with the Trump family, and this bright, shiny, overly-long tie is just the beginning, but pulling it up an inch or so, so that it ends right at the belt/waist, would be a way to begin fixing things.
